LIVE ARTS IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

For more than 140 years, The Grand Opera House has delighted audiences in Wilmington, Delaware, and the greater Brandywine region with world-class live entertainment.

In 2015, The Grand expanded its reach by taking over operations of The Playhouse on Rodney Square (formerly the DuPont Theatre), bringing the best of touring Broadway right to downtown Wilmington.

With more than 120 performances each year, their three venues offer something for everyone — from theater and dance to concerts, comedy, and family-friendly shows. Beyond the stage, The Grand and The Playhouse host community engagement programs that enrich the lives of children and adults across the region.

Parking Information

The DoubleTree Garage on King Street provides free parking for Grand subscribers (vouchers required) and affordable evening rates for all patrons. Street parking is also available and is free after 6 PM and on weekends.
