🐾 Homemade Dog Biscuits
Got a pet lover in your life? These homemade dog biscuits are paw-sitively adorable and easy to make. Plus, kids will have a blast mixing, rolling, and cutting out the dough!
What you’ll need:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened, no xylitol!)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup water
How to make them:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl. Kids can get their hands in there to help knead the dough — it’s messy fun!
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters (bone-shaped, hearts, or holiday-themed ones) to cut out the treats.
- Bake on a parchment-lined cookie sheet for 18-20 minutes, then let them cool completely.
Gift tip: Package these in small holiday gift bags or mason jars with a festive bow. Include the recipe or a list of ingredients so the gift recipient knows they're safe for dogs.
