Kids Craft: Homemade Salt Dough Ornaments

What you'll need:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup salt
• 1 cup water
• Holiday cookie cutters

Instructions:

1. Combine the flour, salt, and water in a bowl to form a dough. If it’s sticky, add a little more flour.
2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thick.

4. Use a straw to make a small hole near the top of each ornament for hanging.
5. Bake the ornaments on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 250°F for 1.5-2 hours, or until completely dry and hard. Flip halfway through for even drying.
6. Once cooled, decorate with acrylic paint, markers, or glitter. Seal with a coat of Mod Podge or clear varnish for added durability.
