Summer Camps at Delaware Nature Society give children a safe and exciting way to explore the wonders of nature while having fun every day. From curious beginners to confident outdoor explorers, their camps offer hands-on learning experiences in natural areas and preserves led by highly qualified instructors.
Programs are available for children ages 3 through 17, from Preschool Summer Fun to Environmental Leaders Program, with options for every age in between. Camps are held at four unique locations, including Ashland Nature Center, Coverdale Farm Preserve, DuPont Environmental Education Center, and Abbotts Mill Nature Center, and include activities such as hiking, stream and pond exploration, live animal encounters, arts and crafts, gardening, camping, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, archery, farming, and more.
